Do I enjoy reading ?

Reading is an extrication. When I read a book, it can take me to somewhere else, forgetting everything and even any problem that might I have. I prefer to read the book that has an image in the book, while reading I able to imagine the storyline. Also I like the book which is taken from a true story and has sad ending or has a value.

What is the last book I have read? And did you like it?

The last book I have read is "The Lovely Bones". This book was taken from a true story and it was a sadness experience that I ever know. When I read the book, I may feel what they felt and I was crying. I have read this novel from cover to cover in a two days and also I have watched the film in a twice.

Do I usually read for leisure or for work purpose?

Reading the book is some activities that be able to cover my free time or to relax my mind.

What kinds of the book did you like reading ?

Well, when I was child, I like fiction story such as The Legend of Toba Lake, Sangkuriang, and Tangkuban Perahu, but now I like novel or book that story is taken from a true story.

The Lovely Bones is a 2002 novel by American writer Alice Sebold. It is the story of a teenage girl who, after being raped and murdered, watches from her personal Heaven as her family and friends struggle to move on with their lives while she comes to terms with her own death.

When I was Senior High School, my senior gave me the film "The Lovely Bones", but the language was english and I did not know it yet, so I bought the novel and read it in a two days. When I saw from the cover, it was so interesting, there are a tree and a teenage girl. Actually I was not person who has hobby reading, I read a book if I saw the book interesting, directly I will read the first page, if the story makes me curious about what will happens in the next, I will read it after finish.

There is a girl named Susie Salmon, a person who is always cheerful but one day her smile lost for forever.
On December 6, 1973, 14-year-old Susie Salmon takes her usual shortcut home from her school through a cornfield in Norristown, Pennsylvania. George Harvey, her 36-year-old neighbor who lives alone and builds doll houses for a living, persuades her to have a look at an underground den he has recently constructed in the field. Once she enters, he rapes and murders her, then dismembers her body and puts her remains in a safe that he dumps in a sinkhole. Susie's spirit flees toward her personal Heaven, and in doing so, rushes past one of her classmates, social outcast Ruth Connors.

Susie's father, Jack, begins to suspect Harvey, a sentiment his surviving daughter Lindsey comes to share. Jack takes an extended leave from work. Meanwhile, another of Susie's classmates, Ray Singh, who had a crush on Susie in school and had made plans a few days before her murder to go out with her, develops a relationship with Ruth, as they are drawn together by their connection with Susie.

Later, Len Fenerman, the detective assigned to the case, tells the Salmons the police have exhausted all leads and are dropping the investigation. That night in his study, Jack looks out the window and sees a flashlight in the cornfield. Thinking it is Harvey returning to destroy more evidence, Jack runs out to confront him, armed with a baseball bat. The figure is not Harvey, but Clarissa, Susie's best friend who is dating Brian, one of Susie's classmates. As Susie watches in horror from heaven, Brian—who was going to meet Clarissa in the cornfield—nearly beats Jack to death, and Clarissa breaks Jack's knee. While Jack recovers from knee replacement surgery, Susie's mother, Abigail, begins cheating on Jack with the widowed Fenerman.

While stalking a young woman in New Hampshire, Harvey is hit on the shoulder by an icicle and falls to his death down a snow-covered slope into the ravine below. At the end of the novel, a Norristown couple finds Susie's charm bracelet but don't realize its significance, and Susie closes the story by wishing the reader "a long and happy life".
